Group Counseling

Recovery Start Group 
​An 8-week Intensive Group Counseling Focus for Persons in Early Recovery from Problematic Sexual Behavior that runs on an as needed basis several times per year. 

This 8-week focus group combines a psycho-educational model with traditional group counseling for those in early recovery for problematic sexual behavior.  The goal is to help solidify gains already made while tackling the challenges of ongoing sobriety and recovery.  We use a structured, multi-modal approach based on the pioneering work of Dr Patrick Carnes called the TASK Centered Approach.  

These TASKS are presented in a homework and group fashion using theRecovery Start Kit (Carnes) provided for your convenience.
